Mathematic Mentor

Hello, pleased to meet you, my name is Alex and I have just finished my first year reading mathematics at Durham University. Before this I gained A* in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A level as well as grades A and B in Physics and Chemistry respectively, I also obtained an A in EPQ. At GCSE I earned 5 A*s, 3As and 3Bs (or equivalent) including a 9 in Mathematics.

 

I have been on two mathematics camps with the UK mathematics trust, the second of which I spent as a senior teaching mathematics beyond the curriculum to younger students. I have in the past volunteered as a Tutor through my university, so I have experience as an academic mentor. In my free time I like to learn languages as well as running, cycling and playing ultimate frisbee.
